Born in 1960, Mr. Krishna Prasai has got two Master's degree both in Sociology and Nepali language and literature from Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu. He is also a President of Jara Foundation and Life member of Literary Journalists Association of Nepal. His anthology of Story "Prakshyapan" (projection) and anthology of poetry "Gham Nabhayeko Bela" (During the sun's absence) (both in English and Nepali) have already published with other five literary books. Mr.Prasai had edited a book with mass volume of poem collection in Nepali language from Indian, Bhutanese and Nepali poets which is Nepal's biggest collection till now, that is "Nepali sama samahik Kabitaharu"(Nepali- contemporary poems) His other poems have been translated and published in Hindi, Japanese, Korean and English languages also. He has received Talent Student Award from Tribhuvan University Kathmandu Nepal in 1989 and UNFPA Award in 1991. Also, he has been honored with some more literary awards.
He has been in countries like, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Macaw, Indonesia, Malaysia, Taiwan, Singapore, Bangladesh, Thailand, Bhutan, People's Republic of China and India.
